Prayer
Requests
02.10.01 There is another Malian missionary that I would also like to tell you about. His name is Jacob Dembelle. He is a member of the Bambara tribe, and the church has sent him out as a missionary to the Bozo tribe. The Bozo tribeís main source of food and income comes from the fishing industry. Jacob was down at Mana last week speaking to the Pastors and asked for prayer in four areas. 1) First, that he would continue to learn the language, 2) second, that he and his wife would be a good testimony for Christ through the way they live their lives, 3) third, that the Lord would burden his heart with a desire to serve the Bozo people, 4) and fourth, that the Lord would meet the physical and spiritual need of he and his wife as they live among the Bozo tribe. 01.27.01 1) Please be in prayer for the team's safety while we are here as well as for all those who are working at the job sight. 2) I hope you will also see the vision we have for the school and be in prayer for the work and the future students. 3) Also, please be in prayer for A.J. He leaves tonight and will be flying back to the states. Pray for him as he makes the adjustment to life back home, and as he shares his experiences with people in his family, church and community. 01.20.01 1) Pray for Pastor Solomon. He is a pastor here in Bamako and is in charge of three churches. The responsibility is really stretching him thin. He also is in need of transportation. He doesn't have a motorbike or anything. Because of all of this, he has been under a lot of stress and is asking for prayer. 2) Pray for the work team that is coming, Tuesday. Pray for safety and that the project would go well. 3) Pray for the health of the missionaries here.
There was a 24-hour flu bug going around, and about fourteen people have
gotten sick. Pray that it will not continue.
