Welcome to my home page! Over the past few years I have been involved with various construction projects in Mali, Africa, working with work teams from the United States and with the local Christians. I have many friends in Mali now, and it's a joy whenever I am able to be with them again. Earlier this year (2001) I also spent time working in Benin, a country on the coast of West Africa. There is a Mercy Ship there that needed some repair work, and I helped a team of welders replace the ventilation system. Mercy Ships are floating hospitals, completely staffed with doctors and nurses. The ship goes from port to port, offering medical care and Christian outreach to local communties.
